Uvedl, že války narušují dodávky ropy, ohrožují potravinovou bezpečnost a rizikují klíčové námořní trasy.

The global economy is under SERIOUS pressure, and the world’s biggest powers are running out of room to ignore it.
Wars are disrupting oil supplies, threatening food security and putting some of the world’s most important shipping routes at risk.
Rubio called it a “moment of choosing.”
“We are facing a series of interconnected economic and geopolitical crises, many of which pose severe threats to essential foundations of the global economic order.”
And the divisions were on full display in Atlanta, where European diplomats even objected to taking a group photo with Russia’s Sergey Lavrov.
Getting the world’s biggest economies to agree on how to fix any of this might be a crisis of its own.

Rubio situaci označil za „moment volby“.
„Čelíme sérii propojených ekonomických a geopolitických krizí, z nichž mnohé představují vážné hrozby pro základní pilíře globálního ekonomického řádu,“ řekl.
Poukázal na narušení energetických a potravinových dodávek, obchodních řetězců a svobody plavby.
Jednání v Atlantě zároveň odhalila hluboké rozpory. Evropští diplomaté odmítli společnou fotografii s ruským ministrem zahraničí Sergejem Lavrovem, kvůli čemuž USA tradiční skupinový snímek zrušily.
Rozdíly se týkají zejména konfliktu na Ukrajině a dalších krizí.
Zasedání G20 má připravit půdu pro summit lídrů v prosinci. Shoda na konkrétních řešeních však zůstává nejistá.
